We do keep this listing very current. New adoptable dogs are posted here weekly, dogs who have been adopted are moved to the Happy Endings page at the end of each adoption day.

Because we are not only a rescue but a sanctuary the dogs who come into our care have a safe place to live until they are adopted, so some of our residents have been in our care for months or even years.

The name’s Ace. I'm young, I'm deaf, and I'm rocking this whole “mysterious gentleman with a soft squishy face” thing like it’s a lifestyle. Because it is.
Being deaf just means I live life in silent movie mode with extra dramatic flair and double the facial expressions. I won’t hear your compliments, but I will absolutely accept your snacks and belly rubs like royalty. I use my eyes and nose to take in the world. While it might take me a minute to warm up to new people, once I do, I’m all in. I’m talking goofy wiggles, toy parades, and nap-time snuggles.
I’m still a young pup so I’ve got energy and silliness to spare. I’d love a home that understands that deaf dogs just do things a little differently. I’m working on my training with positive reinforcement, and I’d love someone who’s patient, consistent, and fluent in hand signals (or just really enthusiastic charades).
I like other dogs fine, as long as they know how to respect boundaries. You give me space, I give you zoomies. Fair trade. Cats? Unknown. Let's keep it a mystery novel for now. And tiny kids? Probably not ideal. I’d do better with older kids (10+) who understand that I need a little extra time and a lot of gentle understanding.

I might be a little shy at first—new people, who dis?—but throw me a snack, give me some space, and I’ll be your loyal, wrinkled sidekick faster than you can say “Where did all my snacks go?”

When it comes to other dogs, I’m all about playtime! I love to have fun and run around, but I’m not into rough-and-tumble wrestling. I prefer hanging out with laid-back dogs who know how to respect my personal space. Let’s enjoy some good play and relaxed vibes together!

Looking for a dog who will be at your beck and call? I’m your boy! I’m a wonderful companion, a real BFF. I know all of my basic commands like sit, back up, down, go to bed, go potty, load up and I have great recall. Pretty smart right?! I’m even house trained and kennel trained.

I’m used to being a bit of a farm dog, even do well around horses. Other dogs are a different story though. Let’s say I choose my company well, so I am selective of my canine friends. I am well behaved around other dogs on leash but will prefer to be the only furry friend in your home.

I’m wonderful with people, love to play fetch and chase my ball. Goodness to I love my ball. I’ll even enjoy the company of older kids 8+ who can keep up with me.

Hey hey hey! I'm Burger, and no—I'm not edible, but I am a whole snack. Some might call me a little "nervous nugget" at first, but give me some time and I’ll turn into a full-blown Happy Meal (toy included, I bring my own). Strangers are kinda spooky at first, but once I decide you're cool, I’m all in. Like, belly up on the couch in my socks kinda all in.

I’m all about toys! Rubber chickens, squeaky tacos, fluffy dragons, you name it, I’m playing with it. You bring the toys, I bring the party. I play so hard it’s basically a workout. Who needs a gym membership when you’ve got me around?

Just a little positive motivation for my soon to be happy future! I say a little ol hound like me sure could use a nice rug and porch to spend the days. I’m Homer and I’ve got more personality than a pizza has toppings, but not everyone likes all the toppings. Everyone has different tastes. Ya know how some people like anchovies on their pizza? I’m kinda like that. Not the right fit for everyone. I’m a very shy guy who will require a lot of patience, don’t expect me to warm up like an oven. I’m an ember you have to tend to, nurture. Did I mention patience? Good things come to those who wait, and I’ll take time to show you what my favorite toppings are; gentle pets, napping and building trust. 
When it comes to other dogs I’m a fun-loving, goofy guy who gets along great. I’m all about playtime—seriously, playing with dogs is a whole vibe. But cats are not for me.

But after all that excitement, I’m all about the cuddles. Think of me as the doggy equivalent of a warm, fuzzy blanket—you’ll never want to let me go! I’m a quick learner, too. In fact, if napping was an Olympic sport, I’d have a gold medal. I’m a big girl, but I promise, I’m a giant teddy bear under all this muscle. Belly rubs? Yes, please! Scratch my belly and you’ll have a best friend for life but I do need a sensei familiar with the mastiff breed.

I get along with other dogs—especially the chill ones, because I’m not into the “zoomie” chaos. We can just hang out, maybe share a snack, and nap (probably nap). I’d be fine with kids over 10—after all, I’m basically a big, soft, canine cushion that just wants to cuddle, not start a wrestling match. As for cats... well, I’m not sure how I feel about them yet. I’d do best with kids over 3 years old, as I can be a little nervous around younger ones. I’m not great with cats, so it’s probably best we keep it that way for now. But I get along well with other dogs! I appreciate dogs who respect my boundaries and give me the space I need to feel comfortable. I’m also crate-trained, so you don’t need to worry about me when you’re out—I’ll happily settle in my crate until you’re back, ready for our next adventure.

I’m like a caffeine shot in dog form—nonstop energy, slightly chaotic, and definitely knocking over things just because I can. Balls, sticks, socks—if it moves, I’m chasing it. Who says huskies can’t be chill? I’m Sophia, the calmest husky you’ll ever meet, and while I may look like I’m ready to run a marathon (okay, okay I look like I need to run a marathon), I’m actually more of a "couch potato" kind of gal.
I get along really well with other dogs, especially the calm ones. I’m not super into high-energy playdates, but I can totally vibe with a laid-back buddy who’s down for a quiet afternoon. Toby or Not Toby, that is the question—and the answer is Toby, of course! I mean, look at me! This smile can light up a room. My heart is as soft and shiny as this stunning coat of fur I wear upon my back, but I do have some anxiety in new situations that I need to have respected so I will need you to take it slow and easy.
